College Students $6,000
Essay Contest |
AMERICANISM EDUCATIONAL LEAGUE'S 27th PRIVATE ENTERPRISE ESSAY CONTEST
FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS CO-SPONSORED BY THE PILGRIM FOUNDATION
The topics are:
Health Care
or
Election Campaigns
or
Immigration
Length 2,000 words maximum, typed, double-spaced Deadline Postmarked by
May 8, 2009 Cash Prizes Prize package of $6,000 for students
and professors.
The 2009 Awards are spelled out on the Essay Contest
Page.
These are the benefits for your students, your college and you:
Every student entering a credible essay will receive a Certificate
of Achievement recognizing his/her accomplishment;
Finalists will receive national recognition for themselves, their instructors
and their schools;
The best essay or essays will be published, in whole or in part, in
a tract for national circulation for the public and in Academia;
Students should not assume that they'll be competing against thousands
of other essays. We receive fewer entries than you might think. But,
for the students, the greatest benefit of all is researching and writing
a creditable essay on an important and timely topic. The best way for
your students to win is to assign the Essay as: a course requirement,
a term paper or for extra credit. The professors of the 1st and 2nd place winners will each receive an honorarium of $250.00
